1. John Cena And Lisa Marie Varon
Cena began dating former WWE superstar, Lisa Marie Varon, popularly known as Victoria, in 2002. Cena and Victoria were in WWE’s developmental centre when they started seeing each other.
The two dated for just a month, and their relationship ended after they went to the main roster. Cena made his debut against Kurt Angle and later became the face of WWE for a long time. On the other hand, Victoria also dominated women’s wrestling and was an icon until her departure in 2009.

Victoria once revealed during an interview that she was already married to Lee Varon when she dated John Cena. However, they were on a break when she dated John Cena for a month.
2. John Cena And Mickie James
The relationship between Cena and former WWE superstar Mickie James is not strange to many people. The two started dating in 2007 and had an on-screen romance angle in 2008.
Just like Cena’s previous relationship with Victoria, this one also failed to last. Mickie James left WWE in 2010, and many fans of the promotion concluded that the failed relationship with John Cena was why she left.
However, she returned six years later, and during an interview on Lilian Garcia’s Making Their Way Podcast, she addressed her exit linked to John Cena. James denied the rumours claiming that she left because of her failed relationship with the WWE legend. She would spend another five years at WWE before joining Impact Writing Knockout.
3. Cena And Elizabeth Huberdeau

Well, this is the first relationship John Cena took to the next level of marriage. The WWE veteran announced his engagement to Elizabeth Huberdeau a few months after he broke up with Mickie James.
Cena and Elizabeth, who were high school sweethearts, eventually got married in July 2009. However, Cena filed for a divorce three years after their wedding.
4. John Cena and Nikki Bella
Just a few months after divorcing Huberdeau, John Cena began dating Nikki Bella. Nikki Bella was at that time one of the stars of Total Divas.
Cena and the two-time WWE Divas Champion dated for five years before he proposed to her. The proposal happened in the ring at WrestleMania 33 after victory over The Miz and Maryse. Bella and Cena were supposed to get married in May 2018. However, the former women’s champion ended the engagement a few weeks before their wedding day.
She later married Artem Chigvinstev, her former partner at Dancing with the Stars. The two tied the knots in a ceremony that took place on February 12, 2022. However, Bella filed for a divorce from her husband in 2024.
5. John Cena Dating History With Shay Shariatzadeh
Cena and Shay Shariatzadeh have been romantically linked since early 2019. The two lovebirds met on the set of Cena’s 2019 film, Playing with Fire, filmed in Canada. They got married on October 12, 2020, at an attorney’s office in Tampa, Florida. They then hosted a big wedding celebration two years after their marriage in Vancouver, Canada.

Cena and Shay Shariatzadeh have since tried to keep their relationship away from the media. Shay is an engineer who studied at the University of British Columbia between 2008 and 2013.
