The talented small forward began his career in the NBA in 1987 after being drafted by the Chicago Bulls who selected him fifth overall. In his debut against the Philadelphia 76ers, he recorded 10 points, two steals, four assists, and one rebound as the Bulls secured a 104-94 win.
Pippen formed a formidable partnership with teammate Jordan and the two helped the Bulls achieve a rare three-peat from 1991 to 1993. The Bulls achieved another three-peat (1996-98) with Pippen, Jordan and Dennis Rodman in the squad.
After eleven seasons with the Bulls, Pippen joined the Houston Rockets in 1999. However, he spent just one season with the franchise and then joined the Portland Trail Blazers, where he spent four seasons. The legendary small forward made a brief return to the Bulls in 2004 before retiring.
