US Open 2025 Final – A Night Of Champions On And Off The Court
The US Open final between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner was delayed by 30 minutes, as extra security measures for President Donald Trump caused huge queues at the gates of Arthur Ashe Stadium. The stadium, which has a capacity of 24,000, was only about two-thirds full when Alcaraz and Sinner walked out. Thousands of fans were still outside trying to make their way past airport-style scanners.
Well, the delay might have caused anger among fans as some booed President Trump when he was showed on the screen during the national anthem and at the end of the first set.
