Surprisingly, Osimhen rejected all the big teams and decided to sign a pre-contract with VfL Wolfsburg. On January 5, 2017, Victor Osimhen officially signed a contract with Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg. He had to wait until May to make his debut because he arrived at the club with an injury.
VfL Wolfsburg loaned Osimhen to Belgian club Charleroi in August 2018. He was to spend the whole 2018-19 season with Charleroi.
