Career
Miralem Pjanic began his football journey in Luxembourg playing for FC Schifflange 95. In 2004, he moved to Metz where he continued with his youth development.
Pjanic made his senior debut in 2007 and instantly attracted the attention of top clubs in Europe with his performance. Some of the clubs which were interested in the young midfielder’s services include Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Chelsea, Arsenal and Lyon.
After Metz were relegated to Ligue 2 in 2008, Pjanic ended up signing with Lyon on a five-year deal. He was poached by Italian side Roma in 2011 and he ended up spending five years at the club.
Pjanic continued with his career at Juventus, with whom he won four consecutive league titles.
