Al-Nassr Part Ways With Manager Pioli

Al-Nassr recently announced that they had parted ways with manager Stefano Pioli after less than a year at the club. The Italian tactician joined Al-Nassr in September 2024 and replaced Luis Castro who had been sacked after a poor start to the 2024-25 campaign.

Pioli led the Saudi club to a third place finish in the league but that wasn’t enough to convince his bosses. Al-Ittihad, who won the league title, finished 13 points above Al-Nassr.

Pioli, who led AC Milan to Serie A triumph during the 2021-22 season, has been linked with a return to the top of Italian football. According to various sources, he is likely to end up at Fiorentina before the start of next season.
