Amad’s current contract was to expire in the summer of 2025, although Manchester United had the option of extending his stay for twelve more months. But instead of triggering the option, the Red Devils have decided to offer Amad a new contract.

Amad Diallo Contract Details
Manchester United are yet to announced Amad Diallo’s new contract. However, sources such as ESPN reveal that the deal is already signed and could be announced as early as on Thursday.
Amad has agreed to a long-term deal of five and a half years at Old Trafford that will run until 2030. By the time the deal expires, the Ivorian will be at the peak of his career and 11 days away from his 28th birthday. He is set to receive a hefty pay rise which will see him earn a whopping £120,000 per week.
Amad struggled for playing time after joining Manchester United in January 2021 as an unknown teenager. He was handed his debut by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in February 2021, during the clash against Real Sociedad in the UEFA Europa League. He scored his first goal as a Red Devils player the following month in the 1-1 home draw against AC Milan.
The youngster struggled for playing time under Ole Gunnar and was as a result loaned out to Rangers and Sunderland. He had his chance to impress under manager Erik ten Hag but struggled with injuries, especially in the first half of the 2023-24 season.
Amad impressed under interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy, prompting Ruben Amorim to consider him as a starter on his first match. The Ivorian provided the assist to United’s first goal in the Amorim era scored by Marcus Rashford in the 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town in November.
Since then, he has been a regular, starting nine out of ten Premier League matches under Amorim. The talented winger has 13 goals and assists since the start of this season. He has scored three goals in the last six matches, a run which includes the winning goal against Manchester City in December and the equalizer against current Premier League leaders Liverpool last weekend.

Talking about Amad Diallo contract leads to the question how much does the Ivorian earn? According to his salary profile on the website Capology, Amad earns £28,846 gross per week. He is one of the lowest-paid players at the club.

The winger, who makes £1,500,000 gross per year, has so far earned a whopping £7,730,798 since starting his professional football career. As earlier revealed, Amad’s salary per week is expected to rise to a massive £120,000.
How Much Did Manchester United Pay For Amad?
After showing signs of becoming one of the best wingers, Amad caught the attention of Manchester United. The Ivorian, who was at the time playing in the Serie A club Atalanta, agreed to join the Red Devils at the start of October 2020. However, the move happened during the 2021 summer transfer window, with United paying €25 million which would increase to €40 million.
Amad will soon be one of the most expensive players in the world considering his performance at Manchester United this season. At the age of 22, he is already a key player for the Ivory Coast national team and has played in six matches. He was part of Ivory Coast under-23 team that competed at the 2020 summer Olympics.
