Career
The heart of Alexander Isak biography is his football career. Isak began his football journey at the age of six playing for the youth team of one of the largest clubs in Stockholm County, AIK. He went through the club’s youth system for several years and had his breakthrough during the 2015-16 season.
Isak made his debut for AIK as a substitute in a Swedish Cup match against Tenhults IF on 28 February 2016. He scored a goal in the 6-0 victory over the the fourth-tier side.
Two months later, he played his second match for AIK, scoring the second goal in his side’s 2-0 win. Following his goal, Isak became the youngest goalscorer for AIK in Allsvenskan history. He was 16 years and 199 days when he scored the goal.
