Tokyo is hosting the 2025 World Athletics Championships, and the Kenyan middle-distance runner just bagged herself another gold medal.
Kipyegon was focused and determined to win the 1500m race in the finals. She expressed her enthusiasm with this race on Monday with a simple Facebook post.
She wrote: “See you in the final tomorrow.”

On Tuesday, September 16, Faith Kipyegon Faith Kipyegon World Athletics Championships 2025 entered in her annals of history.
She delivered another remarkable performance in the 1500m race, finishing with a time of 3:52.15 to claim her fourth world championship title in the event.
Her victory added to an impressive showing by Team Kenya, with Dorcus Ewoi earning the silver medal after clocking a personal best of 3:54.92. Nelly Chepchirchir also ran a strong race, narrowly missing out on a medal by placing fourth.
Australia’s Jessica Hull secured the bronze in a tightly contested finish, crossing the line in 3:55.16—just fractions of a second ahead of Chepchirchir, who posted 3:55.25.
The result marked Kenya’s third gold medal at the competition.

Minutes after winning her fourth gold medal in the World Athletics Championships, Kipyegon said this was a dream come true.
She loved it even more that her spectators were receptive about Faith Kipyegon World Athletics Championships 2025.
“4TH TIME 1500M CHAMPION OF THE WORLD. This was my dream, another world title, continuing to make history. I am so happy to be in Tokyo, it’s bringing back so many memories from the Olympics. The energy from the spectators is incredible,” she wrote.
