Who are the highest-earning tennis players in 2025? The 2025 season is almost over, with all the four Grand Slams of the year done and dusted. Once again, it was the Italian Jannik Sinner and Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz who made headlines for their performances. The two stars shared the Grand Slams between them and also combined for another eight ATP Tour titles along the way, taking their rivalry to the next level.

Unsurprisingly, Sinner and Alcaraz top the list of the highest-paid tennis players in 2025. World number one in women’s category Aryna Sabalenka is also on the list after raking up millions in prize money. Without further ado, let’s take a look at the top 5 highest-earning tennis players in 2025, according to Forbes.

1. Carlos Alcaraz – $48.3 Million

World number one Carlos Alcaraz has been the biggest earner in tennis this year. The Spaniard has received $13.3 million in prize money and earned an extra $35 million from endorsements.

Alcaraz won the French Open and then wrapped up what had been a fantastic year by clinching the US Open earlier this month. He is one of the most marketable athletes in the world right now and has sponsorship deals with brands such as BMW, Louis Vuitton and Rolex.

2. Jannik Sinner – $47.3 Million

Jannik Sinner had the perfect start to the 2025 season when he clinched the Australian Open title in Melbourne. He then won Wimbledon to continue his dominance in the men’s game. However, Alcaraz had the final say at the French Open and US Open, hence overtaking him to be the world number one.

Coco Gauff clinched her second Grand Slam title at the French Open. However, she struggled afterwards, losing her first match at Wimbledon and then parting ways with her coach Matthew Daly days before the US Open. She was dumped out of the home tournament by 2021 winner Naomi Osaka, ending her hopes of winning the trophy in front of her family, friends and biggest supporters.

Nevertheless, she will be proud with her bank statements as she had earned $37.2 million this year. The 21-year-old received $12.2 million in prize money and $25 million from endorsements.

4. Novak Djokovic – $29.6 Million

Novak Djokovic’s wait for a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title has been extended to 2026 after he failed to win a single major this year. The Serbian exited the Australian Open through injury during his semi-final showdown with Alexander Zverev. He was then knocked out of both the French Open and Wimbledon by Sinner. His last hope of winning a major was dealt a blow at the US Open when he lost to Alcaraz in the third round.
